Today, the Minister of Transport in the government of Maeen Abdul Malik, and based on the nomination of the brother/ President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, issued Ministerial Resolution No. (2) of 2024 AD regarding assigning Sister/ Zamzam Abdullah Ali Al-Hadar - to perform the duties of the Director General of Airworthiness in the Safety Sector. The Minister also issued, based on the nomination of the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, Ministerial Resolution No. (3) of 2024 regarding the appointment of Brother Abdullah Nasser Salem Hussein as an advisor to the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology for aviation safety affairs.

While Article Two of the ministerial decisions stipulates that the aforementioned persons are entitled to all the privileges and entitlements resulting from the decision.

Article Three of the decisions stipulated that it should be implemented from the date of its issuance and that those required to implement it should be notified.

It is noteworthy that the Scoop 24 news website reported on the violations of the Ministry of Transport and the Public Prosecution’s directive to the Minister of Transport, which blamed a number of failures, including the exclusion of personnel from the Civil Aviation Authority, and the imposition of people from outside the jurisdiction.
