The Ministry of Higher Education launches the differentiation exam for cultural exchange grants for the year 2024-2025

The Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education and Vocational Training, A. Dr. Khaled Al-Wasabi, today, Tuesday, in the temporary capital, Aden, held differentiation exams to compete for cultural exchange scholarships for the academic year 2024-2025 in five exam centers.
1,500 male and female students took the differentiation exams in five exam centers in various governorates of the Republic (University of Aden, Hadhramaut University, Taiz University, Sheba Province University in Ma’rib, and Hodeidah University).
The Minister confirmed that the Ministry, represented by the supervisory committees of the examination process, has taken the necessary measures within the rules, regulations, standards and conditions imposed for the successful implementation of the differentiation examinations with complete accuracy and transparency in the targeted examination centers.
Minister Al-Wasabi indicated that the result of the comparison will be mainly relied upon at a rate of 70%, compared to 30%, of the high school result in the process of selecting the best and most deserving of the scholarship... wishing the students good luck and success.
For his part, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Missions Affairs and Cultural Relations, Dr. Mazen Al-Jifri, explained that the Ministry relies on the electronic correction system for exam results in order to save efforts and time and to obtain more accurate results.
He stressed the Ministry's keenness to achieve the principle of justice and promote the principle of transparency, integrity and clarity, so that these scholarships go to the deserving students who are distinguished and distinguished by merit and competence.
For his part, the head of the technical committee for the differentiation exams, Dr. Abdul Raqeeb Gibran, said that the committee has been working for a month to prepare for the exams, and to communicate with universities in the five governorates to receive students according to their geographical location, in addition to creating an electronic link for student registration to facilitate them.
p>Dr. Gibran added that students had been registered via the link from all governorates, indicating that the exam correction would be done electronically via the computer system. Gibran praised the minister’s keenness to conduct a comparison exam apart from approving secondary school results so that the comparison would be competitive and transparent.
