A Japanese shipping company stops the movement of its ships in the Red Sea

The Japanese shipping company "NYK" announced the suspension of navigation of all its ships in the Red Sea, after a warning from the coalition of Western naval forces about the danger of crossing in the region, which is witnessing an escalation in hostile attacks.
A company spokesman revealed that “NYK” also issued instructions to its ships sailing near the Red Sea to stop in safe waters, and that it is considering changing the course of these ships to avoid the turbulent area.
The company said that this decision came after the naval coalition led by the United States and Britain recommended that commercial ships stay away from the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, which connect the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
