The Governor of Hadhramaut receives the team of the project to improve access to justice

The Governor of Hadhramaut, Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, received today, Wednesday, the Access to Justice Improving Team of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), led by the project director, Im Wan Hyuk, in Mukalla.
The meeting discussed the most prominent objectives of the project, most notably empowering women, increasing women’s participation rates, supporting the most needy, and studying mobilizing interventions to improve livelihoods and protection.
He reviewed the steps for launching the group workshop on promoting gender justice through empowering and protecting women in Mukalla, scheduled for January 22.
The project director appreciated the interest of the leadership of the local authority in Hadhramaut in women, their empowerment, and their involvement in decision-making positions in the executive office and administrative facilities, praising the level of awareness and stability in Hadhramaut.
For his part, the Governor of Hadhramaut stressed his keenness to implement the project in Hadhramaut, stressing the interest of the local authority in empowering women and their contribution to the construction and development process and the continuation of university education and postgraduate studies at the universities of Hadhramaut and Sayun and private and private universities.
