Meteorology forecasts rain in 21 governorates in the coming hours

Meteorology expected thunderstorms of varying intensity to fall in a number of governorates, and fog to form over parts of the highlands of eight governorates during the next 24 hours.
The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning said it expected moderate to heavy thunderstorms. Sometimes in the governorates of Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Amran and parts of Dhamar governorate.
Sporadic rains of varying intensity are expected, which may be accompanied by thunder at times, in parts of the governorates of Sana’a, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Al Dhalea and Al Hudaydah, and may extend to include parts of Al-Bayda, Ma’rib and Al-Jawf governorates.
According to the weather forecast, fog or water ash may form on parts of the highlands of the governorates of Saada, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Sana’a, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz and Al-Dhalea.

The Center warned citizens in areas where rain is expected to fall, not to be present or cross flood streams during and after the rain, calling for them to be vigilant and cautious, and to take shelter from thunderstorms.
It also warned vehicle drivers on mountain roads to beware of low wind speeds. Horizontal visibility due to rainfall and the formation of fog or dust.
