The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund, Engineer Moeen Al-Mas, discussed in his meeting with the representative of the Socotra Archipelago in the capital, Aden, Brother Zain Al-Abidin Saad Bahareth, the governorate’s needs and requirements for road and bridge maintenance projects.

 The meeting, which was attended by Brother Abdul Hamid Ibrahim Khaled, Director General of the Roads Corporation in the Socotra Archipelago Governorate, discussed a number of topics related to the interventions required to maintain and rehabilitate a number of roads, streets, and internal and main lines in Hadibo, the capital of the archipelago, and the rest of the directorates.

 Engineer Muin Al-Mas explained the Fund’s preparations and capabilities to target the road network in the governorate, stressing the keenness of the Ministry of Public Works and the Fund to target the governorate’s road infrastructure as a basic requirement that contributes to promoting development in many vital areas within the archipelago..

The Chairman of the Board of Directors also pointed out during the meeting the importance of cooperation and coordination with all parties in Socotra Governorate to work together to advance the movement of reconstructing and developing the road sector infrastructure..

For his part, Baharith praised the great efforts being made by the Ministry of Public Works, represented by His Excellency the Minister, Engineer Salem Al-Harizi, and the Fund’s continuous movements through the dynamo of reconstruction and construction, Engineer Moeen Al-Mas, in Al-Nahda, the most important basic pillars of development and sustainability in the governorate and the rest of the governorates in the country..
