The Houthi group prevents a Sudanese airline flight from landing at Mokha Airport

The Houthi group, which is listed on the terrorist list, prevented a Sudanese Tarco Airlines flight from landing at Mokha Airport, while a new batch of Yemenis stranded in the Sudanese city of Port Sudan was on board.
A navigation source revealed that the crew of the flight, which was scheduled to land on Thursday, was forced to return to Sudanese territory after receiving a Houthi threat when entering Yemeni airspace through the aviation authority tower in Sanaa.
This incident comes within the framework of the Houthi militia’s continued efforts to obstruct flights to and from Al-Mokha Airport, which was recently built and has obtained aviation licenses, which helps in receiving flights and facilitating the movement of citizens.
This incident also reveals the extent of the Houthi group’s aggression and the prolongation of the suffering of citizens at home and abroad.
The Ministry of Transport of the Government of Yemen had previously announced that Mokha Airport would receive commercial flights to and from a number of Arab countries, including Sudan.
