Work is currently continuing in full swing to complete the work on the Naqeel Al-Arqoub curves in Abyan Governorate, under the supervision of the Ministry of Public Works and Roads and with the financing and supervision of the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund, the main center in the capital, Aden.
The Arqoub area is witnessing the creation of new curves to reduce the longitudinal slopes, as the working teams are digging and compacting the sides of the road while paving and paving the rest of the rugged mountain road to prepare it for asphalt work.
Engineer Zakaria Khaled Muhammad Al-Saghir, project manager, confirmed that the technical teams are making great efforts to implement the project, noting that the work is continuing with funding from the Road Maintenance Fund, emphasizing the importance of completing the project plan within the specified period.
The project director said that the widening of the Arqub curves was for the safety of citizens who suffer in moving across it, as it is considered the arterial line leading to the capital, Aden, and one of the most important lines that were intervened to maintain.
