Tribal people continue to detain fuel and food trucks in Hadramaut

Tribal gunmen continue to close the main road west of Hadramaut, and detain food trucks and fuel locomotives, to demand a reduction in the prices of oil derivatives.
Local sources said that the tribes detained trucks loaded with petroleum products and goods, including local products, in the Al-Khashaa area at the western entrance to Hadhramaut Governorate, and prevented their passage outside the governorate.
The protesters confirmed that they will continue to escalate until the local authority and the state respond to their demands
of "reducing oil fuel prices, implementing economic reforms to save the currency, and improving living conditions."
