Radfan Electricity workers in Lahj Governorate denounced the branch manager’s negligence and absence from performing his duties, in addition to cutting off the benefits of some employees.

The workers said in a complaint received by “Scoop 24” that they continue to work at the branch every day, in light of the absence of the branch manager, which has continued for twenty days, which led to the disruption of work in the branch.

They added that the branch manager was the reason for the collapse of the branch and its inability and efficiency to work, and they demanded that he be replaced.

He pointed out that the branch workers submitted complaints to Lahj Electricity, the Public Corporation, and the local authority in Ridfan and Lahj, but without any response.

The workers called on the concerned authorities to take the necessary measures to address the situation in the Radfan Electricity Branch, demanding that the manager be quickly replaced with a more qualified person, to ensure continuity of service provision to citizens.

The workers explained that the absence of the branch manager led to the disruption of many maintenance and development projects, and also led to a delay in repairing faults affecting the electrical network, which caused repeated power outages.

The workers also indicated that the branch manager cut the benefits of some employees, without any justification, which exacerbated their living conditions.

Over the past few days, Radfan Electricity workers have carried out a series of protests with the aim of improving the situation of the branch, but the local authority in the district and the governorate did not pay any attention to them.
