Thamud District in Hadhramaut Governorate witnessed today, Saturday, the announcement of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, in the presence of  a number of social and political figures in the district.

Muhammad Abdul-Malik Al-Zubaidi, head of the executive body of the council in Wadi Hadhramaut, said that the Southern Transitional Council is the political bearer of the cause of the people of the south, stressing the progress of steady steps towards restoring the southern state’s full sovereignty.

He praised the heroic role of the people of Thamud District in liberating the Hadhramaut coast from extremist elements and forming the Hadrami elite, calling for them to rally behind the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in the district.

He pointed to the multiplicity of tasks of the local leadership in the directorate, such as caring for citizens’ affairs and political, service and community work within the scope of the directorate, stressing that the directorate needs sincere efforts to improve basic services.

The activities of the directorate’s announcement witnessed the announcement of the names of the members of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in the Thamud Directorate, and they are:

- Sheikh Saleh Abdullah Abdul Menhali, head of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Thamud District.

- Dr. Ali Saleh Ghaleb Al-Amiri, Deputy Head of the Local Leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Thamud District.

- Naif Nasser Mohammed Al Menhali, Director of Organizational Management

- Fayez Ahmed Raziq Al Menhali, Director of Financial and Administrative Department.

- Muhammad Nasser Fadl Haitham, Director of the Political Department

- Salem Saeed Salem Al Menhali, Director of the Legal Department

- Lazem Al-Ruwai’i Owaidan Al-Menhali, Director of the Public Administration

- Malahi Ali Aoun Al-Sayari, Director of the Economic Department
