Urgent.. All power generation stations in Aden have stopped, and the Al-Rais and Al-Mansoura stations are expected to be out of service

The General Electricity Corporation of Aden announced, this evening, the cessation of all power generation stations in the city, with the exception of the Al-Ra'is and Al-Mansoura stations, which are expected to be out of service within the next two days.
The corporation explained in a statement monitored by the Scoop24 news editor: The stopping of the stations is due to the lack of fuel, as it appealed to all competent authorities to provide quantities of diesel and diesel more than a month ago, but their appeals were not responded to.
The shutdown of the stations led to an increase in power outage hours, as the city suffers from frequent outages of up to 12 hours per day.
The Corporation called on the Presidential Command Council and the Prime Minister to intervene urgently and secure a quantity of diesel and diesel fuel to restart the stations and achieve relative stability in the service.
The corporation confirmed that if fuel is provided, the stations will be restarted and the hours of power outages will be reduced.
