Rights Radar, a human rights organization, condemned the kidnapping of citizens by the terrorist Houthi militia in Ibb Governorate, central Yemen, in light of the violations and crimes it commits in various governorates under its armed control.

Since the beginning of this week, the Houthi militia has continued to kidnap dozens of shop owners in a number of neighborhoods in Ibb city and the governorate’s districts, for not hanging slogans and green decorations belonging to the militia.
The militia obliged shop and house owners to forcefully hang green decorations and slogans in conjunction with the anniversary of the birth, which is the occasion that the militia uses as a means of blackmailing and robbing citizens.
Identical sources said that the militia did not find a great response from citizens by hanging green badges and decorations, which forced it to force major merchants and governmental and private institutions to hang those badges and imprison small shop owners who did not respond to its demands.
