The people of Yafa in Lahj Governorate, southern Yemen, launched an electronic campaign to demand the maintenance of the Habeel Jabr-Laabous-Al-Hadd line, which has become dilapidated and witnesses almost daily traffic accidents.

The appeal launched by the people stated: “The Habil Jabr-Laabous-Al-Hadd line has caused great suffering to the young people for years, and the state has not maintained the road... How long will the suffering continue?! Leave your mark on this destructive line, you people of the state.” ".

The residents added: “The line has become dilapidated and the amount of damage on it is great. The condition of the line is unbearable. The situation there is catastrophic. Traffic accidents of cars and locomotives occur on the line on a daily basis.”

They continued: “These accidents result in deaths, serious injuries, and significant material losses.”

The residents confirmed that the humanitarian incidents that occur on this line “pain every person,” asking: “Does it hurt you?!”

They said, “All those crossing this line suffer troubles and are exposed to states of terror and fear from the terror and dangers of the road.”

They added that the line “has reached a miserable stage and has become a disaster that cannot tolerate delay and delay.”

The residents called on officials to quickly maintain the line “before a new disaster occurs.”
