On Sunday morning, January 28, 2024, a fire broke out in a camp for the displaced and the most vulnerable groups in the city of Ataq, the center of Shabwa Governorate, southeastern Yemen.
Local sources said that a fire broke out in the "Al-Mudhal" camp for the displaced and the most vulnerable groups in the city of Ataq, and this led to the burning of the shelter of three families.
The sources added that the fire, which was likely caused by an electrical short circuit, caused material damage to the affected families, while no human damage was recorded.
