Minister Badib visits the General Postal Authority and stresses the necessity of developing it

The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Acting Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Waed Badhib, visited today, Sunday, the headquarters of the main center of the General Authority of Posts and Postal Savings in the capital, Aden.
Dr. Badheeb heard from the head of the General Postal Authority, Sami Al-Barti, a comprehensive explanation of the postal situation, and the most prominent obstacles that limit the development of its work and services provided to the public.
Dr. Badib stressed that visiting the facilities, bodies and institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology comes out of a desire to closely monitor their conditions and sense the needs to develop them and raise their capabilities according to the available capabilities.
He pointed out the importance of the postal situation in Yemen, stressing the authority’s leadership on the need to develop possible plans and studies and activate the digital map to develop postal services and make it meet the needs of society with advanced postal and financial services characterized by speed, regularity and safety.
Minister Badib stressed that improving and developing the postal status will be a top priority for the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in order to achieve an effective contribution to the development of the national economy.
