The Minister of Defense praised the humanitarian role of the International Red Cross mission and its efforts to mitigate further civilian casualties through awareness-raising, holding various training courses, and providing medical and therapeutic services through its field hospitals.
The Minister of Defense explained that members of the armed forces are committed to international humanitarian law at various levels, in contrast to the terrorist Houthi militia, which does not respect any international or local conventions or laws, stressing the readiness of the Ministry of Defense to overcome all difficulties and facilitate the mission’s tasks in performing its humanitarian work.
