Engineer Qaid Rashid Anam, Director General of the Cleaning and City Improvement Fund, directed the speedy activation of work in the evening period, during an expanded meeting attended by Mr. Nabil Ghanem, the Financial and Administrative Representative of the Fund, Fahim Abbad, Deputy Cleaning Affairs, Thabet Yahya, President of Municipal Unions, and Shawqi Abdullah, Director of the Personnel Affairs Department. And heads of hygiene departments in the directorates.
Engineer Rashid stressed the importance of the meeting as it aims to raise the level of work in the cleaning sector, discuss ideas that would raise the pace of work and innovate new mechanisms for developing the cleaning service, and identify some of the difficulties that accompany the work and discuss their treatment according to capabilities.
Engineer Rashid stressed on controlling and following up on workers and cases of absence and raising them promptly and activating work in the evening period in proportion to the stability of the security situation and the availability of night lighting in the streets. This requires working around the clock and preparing cars and mechanisms and distributing them according to needs, quickly maintaining them and providing alternatives. And prepare it if the other one breaks down so that work does not stop.
For his part, Mr. Nabil Ghanem, Deputy Director General for Financial and Administrative Affairs, emphasized redoubling efforts and contributing to resolving urgent problems directly, and activating the principle of reward and punishment for those who fail in their work, adding that he is working to follow up on the cases of those replaced with the Ministry and discuss appropriate treatments for them.< /p>
The meeting's recommendations approved starting work in the evening, activating the fingerprint system in the preparation process in the regions and administration, addressing any defect in coordination with those concerned, addressing the phenomenon of absence, holding disciplinary council meetings and issuing its decisions urgently, monitoring drivers, and stressing the need to maintain cars and not speeding over. Excess.
The recommendations of the meeting also stated the need to “remove the waste, dust, and iron located at the gate of the transfer station and prevent citizens from entering the dump and digging up the waste, in addition to coordination in administrative work and direct communication to resolve any obstacles that may occur during the intensification of work.
