The Executive Unit for World Bank-funded projects affiliated with the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund, the main center in the capital, Aden, continues its supervision of the maintenance and rehabilitation of a number of internal streets in the city of Al-Dhalea, within the framework of the additional financing package provided by the World Bank through the United Nations Office for Project Service (UNOPS).< /p>
In the project to maintain a group of streets in Al-Dhalea, which began work recently, the executing party, Al-Wali General Contracting Corporation, continues to maintain both Al-Iskan Street to Dar Al-Diyafah, Security Street to Customs, and Al-Houd Street.
Abu Muhib Al-Lajami Contracting Establishment continues to maintain Dar Al-Haid Street, the Governorate Entrance Street, and Security Street.
Those in charge of implementing the projects confirm that work is currently continuing to rehabilitate and treat vital targeted streets in the governorate to raise the level of service provision to citizens and facilitate their movement within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry of Works and the Road Maintenance Fund to develop the urban road network in the governorates.
It is noteworthy that the project to rehabilitate the streets of the city of Al-Dhalea is taking place simultaneously with the continued maintenance and rehabilitation of a group of urban streets in Aden, Lahj, Zanzibar, Taiz, Al-Mukalla, Al-Shahr, and Sayun, which are covered by additional funding from the World Bank through the United Nations Office.
