The Director General of Khormaksar Directorate, Awas Al-Zuhri, inspected, on Tuesday morning, the progress of work on the Al-Khor Corniche and Walkway project in Khormaksar Directorate.

Al-Zuhri reviewed the project’s completion rate, stressing that this project is one of the most important public outlets in Khormaksar and Aden as a whole, and is being implemented according to international engineering specifications and designs.

Al-Zuhri stressed to the implementing agency the need to expedite the implementation of the work and complete the project according to the agreed upon time period, so that the people of Aden can benefit from this outlet and tourist destination for the capital, Aden.

Al-Zuhri also followed up on the work of removing concrete barriers from the Aden International Airport line, in preparation for opening the closed line to vehicular traffic, after years of closure.

The closure disrupted traffic and distorted the aesthetics of the street.

This step comes within the framework of the efforts of the local authority in Aden to improve services and alleviate the suffering of citizens.
