Al-Mas inspects the progress of implementation of international projects in Al-Dhalea Governorate

In continuation of the implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Public Works and Roads in following up on the progress of maintenance and rehabilitation projects for the existing road network in the governorates, including projects funded by the World Bank... Engineer Moeen Al-Mas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund, inspected the main center in the capital, Aden, for street maintenance work. Interior projects being implemented with funding from the World Bank through the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) under the supervision of the International Project Implementation Unit of the Road Fund.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors toured, accompanied by Engineer Abdul Bari Al-Harbi, Advisor to the Ministry of Transport, Engineer Walid Al-Sahmi, Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Public Works and Roads, Engineer Mahboob Hamid, Director General of the Executive Unit for International Projects, and Engineer Nabil Makki, Director General of Branches at the Fund, on his inspection tour, in which they were received by Brother Ali Muhammad. During the inspection of the work, Engineer Moin Al-Mas was briefed on the levels of completion in the targeted projects, hearing from those in charge of the projects there a detailed explanation of the progress of the work according to the prepared plans, as well as the rest of the ongoing work within the implementation stages of the projects.
The Chairman of the Fund’s Board of Directors expressed his appreciation for the effort made in implementing the projects by the technical and engineering teams affiliated with the implementing agencies, “Muheeb Al-Lajami General Contracting Establishment” and Al-Wali General Contracting, praising at the same time the keenness of the local authority in the governorate, represented by the brother governor, Major General Ali Muqbel. Saleh and the officials of the executive offices in the directorates opened paths of cooperation and coordination with the leadership of the Ministry of Works and the Fund to facilitate the implementation of the projects to the fullest extent.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Local Council in Al-Dhalea Governorate, Ali Muhammad Al-Awd, praised all the broad movements and tireless efforts undertaken by the leadership of the Ministry of Public Works and the Road Fund to revive life in the lines of transportation and movement easily and smoothly within the governorate and work to reduce traffic accidents resulting from poor roads. .
