Today, the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in the capital, Aden, completed the work of filtering and removing waste on the central island, one kilometer long and 50 meters wide.

The director of evaluation and follow-up supervising the project work, Khalil Moqbel, said that the work of removing dust and waste, which lasted about two weeks, amounted to 150 moves, amounting to 1,950 tons.

These works are part of the first phase of the project to rehabilitate the central island area.

Engineer Qaid Rashid Naam, Director General of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, confirmed that the project will represent an aesthetic addition and a natural tourist and recreational outlet in addition to the balance of the capital Aden’s possessions of beaches, outlets, corniches, and public parks.
