Brother Awad Muhammad bin Al-Wazir, Governor of Shabwa Governorate and Head of the Local Council, met in his office today with Brigadier General Saleh Ali Bilal, Director General of the Qena Commercial Project.
At the beginning of the meeting, Governor Bin Al-Wazir welcomed Brigadier General Bilal, wishing him success in his upcoming duties.
Governor Bin Al-Wazir was briefed by the Director General of the Qena Port Project on the most important tasks and results of his meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Transport and the upcoming directions regarding the Qena Port Project.
Governor Bin Al-Wazir stressed the great importance and directives of the local authority and the efforts made with the Presidential Leadership Council, the Presidency of the Government, and the concerned authorities represented by the Ministry of Transport to establish the port with the specifications of commercial ports because of its great economic feasibility that benefits the governorate in particular and the national economy in general.
The Governor, Ibn al-Wazir Ali, the port project manager, stressed the redoubling of efforts to complete all necessary procedures as it is the first main pillar for establishing the port.
In turn, Brigadier General Saleh Ali Bilal, Director General of the Qena Port Project, expressed his great appreciation for the efforts of the Governor, the Minister’s son, and his interest and continuous follow-up, which had the effect of overcoming a number of difficulties and challenges they faced..
