The Money Court decides on two cases of forging a certificate and theft of public money in Aden

The Public Funds Court of First Instance in the capital, Aden, issued the conviction of two defendants on charges attributed to them in two cases of forgery, disrupting an electrical facility, and stealing public money.
The court held its public session under the chairmanship of the court judge, Judge Abdel-Aleem Al-Maliki, and in the presence of prosecutor Marwan Mahfouz and Secretary Asma Adel. Its ruling in Case No. 28 of 1444 AH, J.J., which is recorded in the Public Prosecution’s records, is an incident in which a forged document was used, which is a high diploma in nursing attributed to its issuance. The Amin Nasher Institute falsely accused the accused Farouk Qaid Abdullah Naji, head of the Emergency and Accident Department and former head of the Epidemiology Department at Al-Jumhuriya Hospital.
The operative part of the ruling was as follows:
First: Rejecting the defenses presented by the accused through his lawyer.
Second: Convicting the accused Farouk Qaid Abdullah Naji of the charge attributed to him in the indictment, and in the general right, punishing him with imprisonment for a period of four years with immediate effect as a penalty for the crime he committed.
Third: The private right has the right to accept the civil lawsuit submitted by the Republic Hospital Authority in form and reject it in substance.
Fourth: The civil plaintiff has the right to submit her civil claim independently in accordance with the law before the competent civil court after attaching the documents supporting it.
Fifth: Obliging the convict to pay an amount of five hundred thousand riyals in fines and litigation losses, which shall be delivered to the victim, the Republic Hospital Authority.
Sixth: Dismissing the convict from public employment and depriving him of practicing any medical activity, whether in the public or private sector.
Seventh: The right to appeal the ruling is guaranteed within fifteen days of its pronouncement.
In another context, the court issued a ruling against a convict (M.S.C.) for two incidents of disrupting an electrical facility and stealing public money. The court ruled that he should be convicted and punished with imprisonment for a period of three years with immediate effect and his obligation to compensate an amount of one million eight hundred and fifteen thousand riyals. Added to it is one million riyals in compensation and litigation losses. The right to appeal the ruling was also granted within a period of (15) days from the pronouncement of the ruling.
