His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al-Zaouri, met in his office this morning with the Dean of the College of Education in Al-Dhalea Governorate, Dr. Khaled Ahmed Al-Faqih.

During the meeting, Minister Al-Zaouri welcomed Dr. Al-Faqih, wishing him success in his scientific and academic tasks, and discussed with him a number of issues related to academic work at the University of Aden, including the reluctance of students to study at the university, especially the colleges of education, due to the difficult economic conditions that parents are going through. Students due to the deterioration of the currency, which led to poor living conditions and a high rate of poverty among the people, not to mention the delay in parents’ salaries for several months.

The meeting emphasized that the cessation of employment for about 13 years has accumulated among the problems that students face and has prevented them from joining the university and their reluctance to study, especially when they look at the fate of their fellow graduates who left the university and joined the long unemployment queue that has burdened the country and caused profound problems in public life. And private.

Minister Al-Zaouri also heard from the Dean of the College of Education in Al-Dhale’ about the educational conditions in the governorate and the challenges facing the educational and academic process in light of the current conditions resulting from the war.

Dr. Khaled Al-Faqih expressed his thanks to His Excellency Minister Al-Zaouri for his efforts in the field of community service and his constant interaction with youth issues and academic education, wishing him good health and happiness.
