The Governor of the Socotra Archipelago, Engineer Raafat Ali Al-Thaqli, met today with the management of Socotra International Airport and its delegated authorities.

The meeting discussed the complementary efforts between the airport administration and the delegated authorities to raise the level of their activity and the security situation therein to facilitate the movement of passengers.

The meeting touched on a number of procedures and difficulties they face and developed the necessary treatment for them to improve the quality of work.

Al-Thaqali stressed that the airport represents the important gateway to the governorate, which requires everyone to work in a spirit of responsibility to convey an honorable image of the governorate and its administrative and security system.

Stressing the interest of the local authority and its keenness to provide the necessary support and facilities to the airport and the entities working in it to enable them to carry out their duties to the fullest extent.

The meeting witnessed a number of proposals presented by attendees with the aim of overcoming previous difficulties, strengthening the spirit of unity, and adhering to the administrative hierarchy in implementing tasks and directions.
