Five women and a man were killed, this afternoon, Wednesday, in a horrific traffic accident that occurred in the Al-Jahmiliya area in the Yemeni city of Taiz.

According to local sources, a girl who was driving a car with three other women next to her was unable to control the car’s brakes, which led to the car running and overturning in the Al-Jahmiliya tour in the city of Taiz.

The sources added that the four girls in the car all died, in addition to another woman and man, who were on the road and were hit by the car while it was running.

The accident caused a state of sadness and pain in the city of Taiz, and the people called on the competent authorities to take urgent measures to control traffic security in the city of Taiz and prevent more accidents.
