The Minister of Justice stresses activating the procedures for juvenile cases

The Minister of Justice, Judge Badr Al-Arda, stressed the importance of activating the procedures for juvenile cases with the competent authorities and accelerating the mechanisms of work with the National Center for Forensic Medicine.
This came during a meeting that included the Undersecretary of the Courts and Documentation Sector, Judge Abdul Karim Baabad, the President of the Juvenile Court, Judge Ingrid Abdullah, the Director of the Juvenile Police in Aden, Colonel Magda Muhammad Mansour, and the Director of the National Center for Forensic Medicine, Judge Saleh Bashafi’i.
He pointed out the Ministry's keenness to enhance aspects of joint work and overcome the difficulties facing the parties concerned with juvenile cases, in a way that contributes to facilitating the consideration of such types of cases.
The meeting discussed a number of solutions aimed at overcoming the difficulties facing litigation procedures in juvenile cases, coordinating joint work with the Ministry and the Forensic Medicine Center, and increasing community awareness programs targeting children.
The meeting decided to set a date for holding a joint meeting with all relevant authorities in order to prepare plans and programs capable of activating administrative and judicial work in such cases and in accordance with the law.
