Communication and Internet service was completely cut off in the districts of Hays and Al-Khawkhah, south of Hodeidah Governorate.
Local sources said that communications and Internet services were completely cut off in the districts of Hays and Al-Khawkhah on Friday afternoon, isolating southern Hodeidah from the world.
The sources explained that the Yemen Mobile and landline mobile communications services and the DCL Internet service, operated by the telecommunications company TeleYemen, were completely lost as a result of an act of sabotage in the fiber optic cable.
