Washington reveals the truth about the Houthi attacks in the Red Sea

US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said that the Houthis attacked commercial ships of fifty parties that have nothing to do with Israel.
He considered that they were taking illegal measures and this is an international problem related to security and freedom of navigation.
The US Secretary of Defense called for Iran to stop supplying the Houthis with the weapons they use to attack ships.
Austin had held discussions with his British counterpart, Grant Shapps, that dealt with security threats in the Middle East, most notably the Houthi attacks on international shipping in the Red Sea, according to a Pentagon statement.
The British Maritime Trade Operations Authority also reported that it had received a report about an incident fifty-seven nautical miles west of the port of Hodeidah.
It also said that the explosion occurred a long distance from the starboard side of a commercial ship west of Hodeidah, indicating that the crew and ship are fine.
The British Authority advised ships to exercise caution and report any suspicious activities.
