The local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Sira District in the capital, Aden, organized this morning a campaign to remove random electricity connections in the neighborhoods of Sira District.
The campaign, which was headed by Colonel Muhammad Hussein Jarallah, head of the authority, began with the participation of the local authority in the district and community committees. As well as the committees of the centers in the directorate’s transitions in the Al-Badri neighborhood and Jabal Al-Badri district in the directorate.
This campaign comes in coordination with the Director General of the General Electricity Corporation, Engineer Salem Al-Walidi, assigned to the Department of Control and Inspection and Legal Affairs in the Corporation, and it is an extension of several previous campaigns in the May 1st neighborhood, It targets all random electricity connections, which cause danger to citizens and the safety of electricity supply to homes.
It is worth noting that this campaign was widely accepted by the citizens of the district and their participation in providing guidance on places of random connection and reporting every violation of proper connection.
