The Minister of Defense participates in the meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the Islamic Military Coalition to Combat Terrorism

The Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Muhammad Al-Daari, participated in the second meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the Islamic Military Coalition to Combat Terrorism, which was held today in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, under the slogan “Fighting terrorism is a shared responsibility.”
In his speech, the Minister of Defense pointed out the dangers posed by the terrorist Houthi militia to regional and international security through its service with the terrorist organizations Al-Qaeda and ISIS and its targeting of shipping traffic in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
Lieutenant General Al-Daari affirmed the legitimate government’s keenness to bring peace to Yemen, but the bitter experiences with the Houthi militia and its violation of covenants and covenants require the support of the Yemeni armed forces to defeat this militia on the ground, restore the state, and impose security and stability that will reflect on the security of the region and the world, appreciating the honorable historical positions. The Minister of Defense explained that Yemen has suffered greatly from the threat of terrorism, like other brotherly and friendly countries, which requires everyone to come together to confront it. He looked forward to Yemen being given special attention by the Islamic Military Coalition to combat terrorism, and expressing his thanks to the Saudi Minister of Defense, His Highness Prince Khaled bin Salman for the efforts made to make this meeting a success and the positive results achieved during it.
