The Minister of Health opens the dental clinic and library at the Amin Nasher Institute and visits the scientific exhibition

The Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasim Muhammad Bahibah, opened today the educational dental clinic and scientific library at the Dr. Amin Nasher Higher Institute for Health Sciences in the temporary capital, Aden.
Dr. Buhaibeh reviewed the level of technical equipment of the educational dental clinic at the institute, and the students gave him an explanation of the type of services the clinic provides to the community, which during the first semester amounted to more than 240 cases.
Minister Bahibah also inaugurated the scientific library at the institute after its rehabilitation, and toured around it and listened to an explanation from its director, Altaf Al-Soruri, about the numbers of students and educational staff who frequented it for the purpose of studying and preparing research.
The library contains more than three thousand titles and one hundred and forty periodicals.
The Minister praised the advanced level he observed in the clinic and the library and stressed the necessity of preserving them, benefiting from them and harnessing them for scientific purposes and translating the applied aspects of the institute.
In addition, the Minister of Health and the Dean of the Dr. Amin Nasher Higher Institute for Health Sciences, Dr. Jamal Amdhib, inspected the scientific and educational exhibition organized by the students of the Dr. Amin Nasher Institute to celebrate the 54th anniversary of the founding of the institute.
The Minister of Health and his companions toured the various pavilions and viewed the students’ innovations in the scientific specializations of radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, dentistry, physical therapy, reproductive health, nursing, community health, anesthesia, and operations.
Dr. Bahibah expressed his admiration for the high scientific level acquired by the institute’s students and their translation into practical reality, calling for the necessity of optimal investment in scientific fields that benefit society.
Noting that the institute is one of the sources of supplying the health sector with qualified personnel.
The Minister of Health congratulated the students on the success of their science exhibition, which reflected the advanced level of academic achievement in multiple specializations at the institute.
