Judge Al-Muflhi also touched on the lack of commitment to implementing the declared humanitarian truce, and the continuation of the investigation process and reaching the victims in all Yemeni regions in the hope of getting justice for them through the national judiciary and transitional justice mechanisms.
The meeting discussed the importance of strengthening Yemeni state institutions to play their role in providing services and protecting human rights through increasing regional and international support and the political, social and civil society components joining forces with them.

He pointed out at the same time the long time it may take to collect information and evidence, as it represents the gateway to any process of redress for the victims and achieving peace based on human rights, as it is an important work undertaken by the National Committee, and the basis for future cooperation with it on which the peace process in Yemen will be based.
The meeting was attended by members of the National Investigation Committee, Judge Hussein Al-Mashdali and Judge Ishraq Al-Maqtari, on the one hand, and the Deputy US Ambassador, Angerta Taghbrun, and the Political Affairs Officer at the Embassy, Houston Harris, on the other hand.
