The work on the maintenance project for the Al-Saha Road, Al-Karba, Souq Al-Rabu’, Al-Maqatara District, Lahj Governorate, has currently reached the last section of the road, which is being completed by the technical teams of the party implementing the project being completed, with the follow-up of the Ministry of Public Works and the funding and supervision of the Road and Bridge Maintenance Fund, the main center in the capital, Aden.

The working teams of Al-Khudairi General Contracting Company, as the implementing agency for the project, continue to implement the construction phases of the road, while applying retaining wall and formwork works on the remainder of the road, and preparing it for asphalting operations. This is done according to what was explained by the project manager, Engineer Azal Noman.

Noman indicated that the project completion stages are nearing their end, with the work of the last section of the strategic road, which is the alternative road to the Haijat Al-Abd Road, which is closed due to its maintenance.

It is noteworthy that Al-Saha Al-Karba Road is considered important in that it is the arterial road linking Taiz and Lahj governorates to the capital, Aden. Traffic was diverted through it after the closure of Haijat Al-Abd Road.
