The Land Protection Unit carries out extensive clearing operations in Al-Mudhara

This Tuesday morning, the Land Protection Unit, led by Lieutenant Colonel Kamal Al-Halmi, carried out multiple removal operations of random construction in the Al-Mamdara area, north of Sheikh Othman District in Aden.
The Land Protection Unit, in accordance with directives from the competent authorities, targeted the removal of a random building in Jewar Unit 667, managed by the Political Security Plan, to which it was officially allocated in 1993.
Jawad Sarib, engineer of the Political Security Plan, said, “The plan was subjected to random expansion after 2015 AD by armed men who affected the streets of the plan and other service sites such as the school and the post office, which damaged the face of the urban plan.
He added that the capture operation was met with great dissatisfaction by the plan’s landowners, who saw their plan being permissible without any deterrent.
The expansion process continued until the Land Protection Unit came under the leadership of Brother Kamal Al-Halmi, to whom we extend our great thanks on behalf of the Political Security Association and the residents of the aforementioned neighborhood unit, who personally came down and carried out a large-scale removal operation that included all the random construction in the plan.
Jawad called on the competent authorities in the state to receive the plan and inaugurate official work for the squares designated for services such as roads, schools, and post office, so as to cut off the road for the poor, as well as so that the owners of the lands to whom the state disbursed from members of the Political Security in 93 AD can benefit from it.
For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Kamal Al-Halmi, Commander of the Land Protection and Problem Solving Unit in Aden, said in a brief statement that all random settlement operations are destined for removal, sooner or later.
