Taiz merchants announce the start of civil disobedience against the backdrop of the collapse of the currency and deteriorating living conditions

Today, Tuesday, February 6, the city of Taiz witnessed a partial strike by merchants in response to the call launched by the Taiz City Traders Forum against the backdrop of the continued deterioration of the local currency and the rise in prices of food and basic supplies.
The Taiz City Merchants Forum had called in a statement to implement a partial strike starting today, Tuesday, February 6, February 7 and 8, from the morning until one o’clock in the afternoon.
The Taiz merchants' statement threatened to escalate and announce a comprehensive strike if the legitimate government did not respond to the people's demands and address the economic collapse.
