Ahmed Omar bin Farid thanked Major General Aidaroos bin Qasim Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, for his confidence after his appointment as a member of the Council’s Negotiations Affairs Unit.

Ben Farid said in his post on the “X” platform, “I am honored by this assignment, and as I have emphasized on more than one occasion, I am in the service of the South, its just cause, and its heroic people in whatever position.”

He added, "We chose to stay with the South at various stages, regardless of the circumstances and challenges. I hope to be a useful addition to my colleagues in the Negotiations Affairs Unit."

Yesterday, Major General Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, issued a new decision adding Ahmed bin Farid Al-Awlaki to the membership of the Council’s Negotiations Affairs Unit.
