Returning Ethiopian immigrants from Yemen to their country

A new batch of Ethiopian migrants stranded in Yemen returned voluntarily to their country, on the fifth flight since the beginning of this year 2024.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) said in a tweet on its account on the “X” platform that it helped, on Tuesday, 148 Ethiopian migrants stranded in Yemen to return safely to their homes, via a flight from Aden Airport to Addis Ababa.< /p>
She added that this trip comes within the Voluntary Humanitarian Return (VHR) program, which represents “a safe path for migrants stranded in Yemen to return to their homes,” thanks to the support provided by the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration at the US Department of State (StatePRM).
