This morning, Dr. Khaled Abdel-Baqi Farea - Director General of the Health and Population Office in Al-Tawahi District, met with Dr. Salem Al-Attas - General Director of Basahib Military Hospital in Al-Tawahi District.
During the meeting, the Directorate’s Health Office discussed the possibility of joint cooperation between Basahib Hospital Military and the Health and Population Office in Tawahi, exchanging experiences and the possibility of transferring medical cases from health centers in the Tawahi District to the hospital, especially surgeries for low-income people in the District.
For his part, Dr. Al-Attas welcomed the proposal submitted by the Director of the Health Office in Tawahi, and expressed his readiness. The hospital assists and receives cases referred from health centers in the Tawahi District, taking into account the financial conditions of those cases.

Then the implementation of a campaign to vaccinate children, which is scheduled to be held during this February, was discussed, as well as educating citizens about the importance of the campaign and the active participation of all parties.

After that, the Director of the Health Office visited the Ras Murabet Eye Clinic, and during the visit, joint work was coordinated between the Health Office and the Center in receiving cases transferred from health centers in the Directorate to the clinic and performing eye operations there.. in addition to activating a vaccination point in the clinic to facilitate access. To the largest number of people targeted in this campaign and routine vaccinations.
