The decision, which was issued on Tuesday, included prohibiting the introduction or imposition of any increase in real estate residential rents, and that the lease contracts should remain in effect as they were, and if they were extended, this would be done with the same conditions and value, to alleviate the suffering of people in light of the difficult circumstances that are going on. The country has it.

He stipulated that all transactions and various rental contracts, including the payment of the monthly rent due by the tenant in local currency, be subject to “contributing to the maintenance of the exchange rate and the stability of the sale of various foodstuffs and commodities, finding appropriate treatment to alleviate the suffering of citizens and taking urgent measures as a result of the ongoing war and permanent siege.” of Taiz Governorate and its impact on the economic situation.”

The decision stipulates that the landlord may not request the tenant to vacate his property as long as he is committed to meeting the rental value without any delay. However, in the event of non-payment of rent, he has the right to request eviction of the residence “unless the tenant provides sufficient guarantee to meet the rental value.”

He stressed that concluding new residential lease contracts and determining their rental value shall be at an increase not exceeding 20% ​​of the equivalent rent in local currency, with the exception of commercial investment properties from this condition.

The decision obligated the directors of directorates, police stations, and neighborhood heads in the residential neighborhoods located in the governorate to activate their role in a way that ensures the implementation of the decision and not to interfere other than in implementation of decisions issued by the competent judiciary in this regard.
