With generous funding from Aden Beach Restaurants and the Eye Medical Foundation, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, Camp Management and the Health Office in Aden, and coordinated by journalist Saleh Al-Obaidi, the capital Aden witnessed this morning the launch of the first camp to perform strabismus correction operations for children in the Al-Ain Specialist Clinic.

This humanitarian initiative comes within the framework of efforts made to provide medical care to children who suffer from strabismus problems, with the aim of correcting medical conditions and improving their quality of life.

 Ten cases were targeted in this camp in its first phase, and the initiative is scheduled to continue if capabilities are available to expand the scope of the intervention and include a larger number of children.

This humanitarian step constitutes an expression of solidarity and cooperation between the medical and private sectors, as the role of Aden’s tourist beaches restaurants in Aden contributes to supporting such humanitarian initiatives that contribute to improving the health and well-being of children and enhancing medical care in the city.

Mr. Ahmed Hadi Mahdi, a representative of the Aden Beaches Investment Company, visited and checked on the children before they entered the operating room. He presented them with in-kind and financial gifts, and encouraged them to enter the operating room, without fear, praying for the success of the operations and their speedy recovery.

In turn, Dr. Muhammad Al-Balasi, Director of Al-Ain Specialized Clinic, expressed his happiness in cooperating with philanthropists and sponsors to bring smiles to children and end their suffering, stressing the readiness of the hospital to contribute with humanitarian initiatives, to implement camps in any region of our country.

This blessed initiative reflects the high humanitarian spirit of the people of southern society, who work in harmony and solidarity to help children in need and provide them with support in the field of health care, with the hope that many poor and needy children will benefit from similar initiatives in the future.
