The death sentence was carried out on Thursday morning in the courtyard of the central prison in Al-Ghaydah, Al-Mahra Governorate, against the convict of murder, Salman Ibrahim Suleiman Ali, for killing the victim, Muhammad Saleh Saeed Al-Mahrouq.

The death sentence was carried out in accordance with the rulings issued by the Hawf Court of First Instance, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court and the approval of the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and based on the direction of His Excellency the Public Prosecutor, Judge Qahir Mustafa Ali.

The death sentence was carried out by firing squad, after attempts to convince and encourage the blood relatives of the victims to forgive and pardon, and after the blood guardians refused, 

The document implementing the ruling was read by the Chief Prosecutor of the Al-Mahra Governorate Appeals Prosecution, Judge Hani Saleh Balhaf, in the presence of the brother, Deputy Prosecutor of Hof, Judge Abdullah Salem Saedan, the brother, Deputy Director of Public Security and Director of Criminal Investigation, Brigadier General Ahmed Ali Raafit, and a number of judges, members of the Public Prosecution, and a number From public security officers, blood guardians, and a large group of citizens.

 After the completion of the procedures to implement the ruling, the families of the victim thanked the Public Prosecution in Al-Mahra Governorate and His Excellency the Public Prosecutor, Judge Qaher Mustafa Ali, for his keenness and speeding up the procedures by ratifying before His Excellency the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, which fulfilled their right to legal retribution from the convicts in compliance with the Almighty’s saying: (And to you There is life in retaliation, O people of understanding, that you may become righteous.)
