For the third day... American-British strikes on Yemeni Hodeidah

American-British fighter jets again raided sites of the Houthi group in Hodeidah Governorate, western Yemen, for the third day in a row.
Local sources told Al-Ain News that American-British strikes, which also included bombing by warships, targeted Al-Jabanah camp, or what is known as the “Coastal Defense” camp, north of Hodeidah, in conjunction with launching strikes on coastal targets in the Al-Durayhimi district, south of the governorate.
The Houthi group admitted that the strikes had occurred, as its media reported that Al-Jabbana and Al-Taif had been subjected to 5 raids since early this morning.
On Thursday, Houthi coastal targets in the towns of Al-Shabaka near the port of Al-Salif and Al-Dhabra near the port of Ras Issa, north of Hodeidah Governorate, were subjected to new American-British strikes, hours after targeting the group’s sites in its home stronghold of Saada, in northern Yemen.
The US military said Thursday's strikes were "self-defense" against 4 Houthi drone boats and 7 anti-ship cruise missiles believed to be prepared to be launched at ships in the Red Sea.
On Wednesday, British-American fighter jets also launched strikes on Houthi military targets near the port of Ras Issa, north of Hodeidah Governorate, western Yemen.
On February 5, American fighters targeted a military site of the Houthi group behind the Land of Dreams Park near the port of Hodeidah on the “Dunee” coast, west of the city.
One day before that, the most violent round of American-British strikes targeted more than 13 sites with about 35 raids in the governorates of Taiz, Al-Bayda, Dhamar, Sana’a, Hajjah, Al-Hudaydah, and Saada.
At the beginning of this February, American and British fighters targeted Al-Jar farms in the Abs District, west of Hajjah Governorate, and Al-Jabbana Camp, located north of Hodeidah Governorate. The raids also extended to Saada Governorate, the stronghold of the coup plotters.
Since last January 12, US and British forces have been launching air strikes as part of a military coalition aimed at undermining the capabilities of the Houthis and limiting their attacks on international shipping lines passing through the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
Despite the continued US-British strikes, the Houthi group did not stop its attacks and expanded its range of targets, including “American and British ships,” in addition to ships linked to Israel or heading to Israeli ports.
