A Yemeni expatriate was killed during an armed robbery in America

A Yemeni expatriate with American citizenship was killed last night by gunmen in a robbery in one of the American states.
Yemeni expatriates said that the Yemeni-American (Fares Shihab Al-Khanshali) was shot dead by gunmen who tried to rob the store where he worked in the city of “Memphis,” in the American state of “Tennessee.”
They added that the gunmen fired a barrage of bullets at (Al-Khanshali), which led to his death, while the perpetrators fled.
They indicated that the city police arrived at the scene and opened an investigation into the incident, amid appeals from the Yemeni community to quickly arrest the perpetrators and impose deterrent punishment on them.
The victim comes from the Al-Sha’ar District in the Yemeni Ibb Governorate.
In recent years, dozens of Yemeni expatriates in America have been killed by armed robbery gangs in repeated incidents that did not receive any deterrent measures from the American authorities.
