A powerful explosion occurred this Monday morning, in the village of Al-Fayyoush, in the Tuban District of Lahj Governorate, killing and wounding about 5 children.
Medical sources at Ibn Khaldoun Hospital in the city of Al-Houta revealed that they received the bodies of 3 children under the age of 10, in addition to two children with burns who received first aid.
Local sources confirmed that the explosion occurred in the Al-Mishqafa area in the village of Al-Fayyoush, while children were burning trees on a farm near the area, without revealing the nature of the explosion, whether it was an explosive device or a bomb.
