An important circular issued by the Yemeni Ministry of Endowments regarding the “call to prayer”

Today, in the temporary capital, Aden, the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance issued an important circular to the directors of the general endowments offices in the governorates of the Republic, which included a commitment to unify the call to prayer and Friday prayers in each governorate according to its astronomical times, in accordance with the results of field visits of the crescent committees approved in the calendar of the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance.
The Ministry affirmed in its circular that the call to prayer is a notification of the time, and entails the congregation’s attendance and the times for abstaining and breaking the fast, in addition to being one of the rituals of Islam. “That and whoever venerates the rituals of God, it is from the strengthening of hearts.”
