A new rise in fuel prices in Hadramaut

The Yemen Petroleum Company in Hadhramaut Coast announced a new price adjustment for petroleum at all service stations.
The company set the price of petroleum for the consumer at 1,340 riyals per liter, after deducting the commission and customary wages, and directed agents to adhere to the new price.
The oil company said that the increase came as a result of the high costs of purchasing gasoline from the source, in addition to the deterioration of the local currency against the foreign currency.
For their part, citizens said that this rise will double living conditions, as it will reflect negatively on the prices of food, transportation, and all aspects of life.
