With funding from the Road Fund, technical teams resume sand removal work from Al-Alam Doufs Road in Abyan

The teams working to remove sand from the Doves flag line, funded and supervised by the Road and Bridge Maintenance Fund, the main center in the capital, Aden, resumed the work of removing sand dunes with the return of the monsoon winds.
The teams affiliated with the General Authority for Roads, Aden Branch, began operations to clear the road of sand and dust crawling on the road body, in accordance with the directives of the leadership of the Ministry of Public Works and the Road Maintenance Fund regarding the importance of following up on the removal of road sand.
Engineer Abbas Saleh Ahmed, Director General of Emergency Maintenance at the Road and Bridge Maintenance Fund, confirmed the continuation of sand removal work from vital and international roads and various maintenance works in the liberated governorates.
He pointed out that the commencement of the removal work came with the return of the strong winds blowing sand and dust that the governorates are currently witnessing, noting the continuation of the ongoing work on the vital Al-Alam Doufs road and the rest of the roads, and whenever the need arises to move to clear the roads in order to preserve the safety of citizens, travelers and their vehicles who benefit from it.
