An official source at the Aden Land Office explained that the Criminal Investigation Department allowed the office’s archives to be opened according to preliminary procedures and after verifying and reviewing some of the initial records that were believed to be forgery, which turned out to be correct after comparing them with the records of the Systems and Information Department.

The source added that investigations are ongoing and will continue to be reviewed by returning to the office’s references in the Financial Affairs Department and the Computer Department.

 The source said that this refutes what is being circulated by some weak-minded people who spread rumors and lies on social media sites for the purpose of undermining the leadership and employees of the Commission’s office in Aden, he said.

 The source reported that this campaign directed against the Commission’s employees shows the extent of the hatred of some influential people by creating strife in Aden Governorate and against the most important state offices concerned with preserving the rights of citizens.

The source confirmed that the office’s leadership and its employees at the branch and the authority’s presidential office are making efforts to preserve this national wealth with all the capabilities available to them.

 The responsible source sent a message to what he called weak souls who lost their interests, saying: Close your mouths and refrain your hands from spreading strife and disturbing the public peace of citizens, and hide in your holes and stop people from harming you.

It is noteworthy that the Authority’s office in Aden was subjected to a malicious campaign aimed at undermining the reputation of the office and its employees, after the branch foiled a plan by some influential people aimed at poisoning the archives of the Aden Land Authority with honey.
